2010 Red Rhones

Wine Making Philosophy

ALL of our 2010 releases are aged in neutral barrels (yes even the reds, including the Syrah), native yeast and malo-lactic fermentations, aged on the lees, racked only once prior to bottling, and under 14% alcohol. These are old world, elegant wines focused on food friendly acidity, texture, and mouth feel. If you are looking for high alcohol, dark color, Parker-esque jammy fruit bombs, this may not be your bottle. (But we encourage you to a path of enlightenment and try one.)

Tasting

Tastings are available 7 days a week, by Appointment only , in our custom crush facility, in North Santa Rosa. We are in a business park with other wineries nearby, and can make a full day of tasting in one stop if you wish. Please call 415-613-5731 or or email twoshepherdswine@gmail.com.

As a widely read wine writer/blogger, William is also happy to make suggestions on other places to taste.

I am ready to be enlightened!!! Site looks good, but your descriptions sound great. Under 14%, neutral oak?!! What are you trying to start a wine revolution or something? Cheers to your future in the wine world William!
